Creating an Email Account For Your Joomla Website
To set up an email account:
1. Login to Cpanel
2. Click Email Accounts
3. Put in the info for the new account - remember, your email Quota must fit within your hosting space. If you have a temp account, or a small hosting account, set the Quota for about 25 MB. If you have a larger one, set it for 50 or 100 MB.
4. Click Create.
Set up as many as you need. :)
To set it up in Outlook, use the following settings:
Incoming Mail POP Server: mail.domainname.com
Outgoing Mail SMTP Server: mail.domainname.com
Username: Use the ENTIRE email address, including the @ domainname.com part
PW: the password you set up
To check the email via Webmail, login to:
http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail
use the entire email address to login
